Once an MVP, not always an MVP. Brewers star Ryan Braun was suspended for the rest of the season by Major League Baseball officials on Tuesday. The suspension is the first in an investigation into the Miami Biogenesis clinic, which apparently supplied performance-enhancing drugs to 20 players. The 2011 National League MVP tested positive for elevated levels of testosterone previously, but avoided a suspension. “Today is about everybody who's been wrongly accused, and everybody who's ever had to stand up for what is actually right,” Braun told a press conference at the time. “Today isn't about me, it isn't just about one player—it's about all players.”
