Could this be the beginning of a beautiful friendship? Once rumored to replace him on CNN’s Larry King Live, American Idol host Ryan Seacrest and the veteran broadcaster are reportedly talking about joining forces on the radio, according to the New York Post. Seacrest, who helms a popular talk radio show out of L.A., is under contract until November, but he’s reportedly planning to branch out and start his own radio company. And with King planning to step down from his CNN perch later this year, Seacrest is hoping the CNN icon will be his first hire. It would be the first time in 50 years that King would host his own radio show, since the suspenders-sporting TV host got his start as a late-night talk jockey in Miami.
