Hedge fund investigation continues

The federal government is showing no signs of letting up on its investigation of the hedge fund SAC Capital. Run by controversial trader Steven Cohen, SAC recently entered an expensive settlement with the Securities and Exchange Commission to settle insider-trading charges. But investigations into the firm’s practices are continuing, and prosecutors have issued subpoenas to four top executives at SAC, including its president, chief compliance officer, and chief operating officer.
