Actor Sam Lloyd, best known for his role as a lawyer on “Scrubs,” has died at age 56. Lloyd was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor in January 2019, just one week after the birth of his first son. The disease spread to his spine, jaw, liver, and lungs. He appeared on television for more than three decades, notching roles in dozens of shows. The creator of “Scrubs” paid tribute to Lloyd on Twitter, “Truly such a kind, sweet guy. He will be missed by many.”
