Sam Mendes, husband of Kate Winslet and director of American Beauty and Jarhead, is in talks to direct the 23rd James Bond film. The new movie will once again star Daniel Craig as the titular Double-O agent, while Frost/Nixon writer Peter Morgan will work on the script. The movie is tentatively set to hit theaters in 2011. The most recent Bond film, 2008's Quantum of Solace, was directed by Marc Forster and made nearly $600 million in global ticket sales.
