Bernie Sanders’s campaign manager said the Vermont senator will remain a Democrat, even if he is not the nominee in November. Bloomberg Politics’ Mark Halperin asked campaign manager Jeff Weaver if Sanders would stay in the Democratic Party if he loses the primary to rival Hillary Clinton. “Well, he is a Democrat. He’s said he’s a Democrat, and he’s gonna be [supporting] the Democratic nominee, whoever that is,” Weaver said.
