Bernie Sanders’s presidential campaign will drop its lawsuit against the Democratic National Committe, staffers announced Friday. The Sanders campaign filed the suit in December, after the DNC temporarily restricted Sanders staffers’ access to voter files in punishment for the campaign’s access of Hillary Clinton campagin files. The Sanders campaign said it was abandoning its lawsuit after an independent investigation allegedly proved them innocent of improperly accessing Clinton files. The details of the investigation have not been made public.
