The boy known as Victim 1 in the grand-jury report citing allegations of child sex abuse at Jerry Sandusky’s hands is planning on testifying at a preliminary hearing on Dec. 13, his attorney announced today. Michael Boni was hired last week along with attorney Slade McLaughlin to represent the boy and his mother, who filed initial allegations in 2008. The team plans to file civil litigation naming Sandusky, The Second Mile, Penn State, and “a number of individuals” as potential defendants, but not until the criminal case is closed. The teenage boy recently left Central Mountain High school after being bullied by students blaming him for football coach Joe Paterno’s firing.
