Pennsylvania Children and Youth Services has opened two new cases looking into alleged sex abuse by former Penn State coach Jerry Sandusky, according to TheHarrisburg Patriot-News. Meanwhile, The New York Times profiles “Victim No. 1” from the Sandusky indictment. The boy was a long-distance runner who lived with his mother in public housing in Lock Haven, Pa. Sandusky lavished gifts upon him, according to a neighbor: the boy began wearing designer clothes and one day showed up with a new set of golf clubs even though, by his own admission, he didn’t play golf.
