Perhaps missing South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford arrived on the Appalachian Trail by parachute? WYFF in Greenville reports that “a state vehicle is missing and was tracked down, not to the Appalachian Trail [where Sanford’s office claims he is], but to the Hartsfield-Jackson Airport in Atlanta.” Sources also tell the station that a federal agent spotted Sanford boarding a plane, without his normal security detail. CNN also reports that a black SUV, believed to have been driven by Sanford, has been found at the airport in Columbia, South Carolina. And, Sanford’s wife, Jenny, says she still hasn’t heard from him, telling CNN, "I am being a mom today. I have not heard from my husband. I am taking care of my children."
