Santorum: Ads Not ‘Accurate’

Rick Santorum ripped Mitt Romney over a campaign ad sponsored by an independent super PAC. The ad suggests that Santorum voted for a measure which would have allowed felons to vote in elections, when, in fact, it only would have made it legal for felons who had completed sentences and probation to vote. Although the ad is not directly by Romney, Santorum accused the South Carolina frontrunner of being behind the ads and said that “if you do it legitimately, that’s fine…but repeatedly I think Congressman Gingrich has made the comment…that Gov. Romney has not been accurate in what his assessment is.”
