Santorum Adviser: Romney’s Desperate

Mitt and Rick trade jabs.

At this point in the Republican primary contest, Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum have resorted to making digs at one another. First Romney said Santorum was “at the desperate end of his campaign.” Then, Wednesday, Santorum adviser John Brabender took to CNN’s Starting Point and retorted, “I’m not sure I’m going to listen to a value judgment of a guy who strapped his own dog on the top of a car and went hurling down the highway. For Mitt Romney to be going out there, saying that this is desperate, is an insult also to the voters in places like Mississippi and Alabama who evidently didn’t get the Romney desperate memo.”
