Rick Santorum is finally taking the plunge, sources tell Politico. The former Pennsylvania senator will officially declare his candidacy for the presidency on June 6, making a speech near the western Pennsylvania coal mine where his grandfather worked. After the speech, he’ll head to Iowa and New Hampshire. Santorum has been gearing up for a campaign for some time, and has been traveling to states with early primary votes more than any of the other GOP contenders.
