Guess there will be no Christie-Palin ticket in 2016. Sarah Palin said Saturday that she sides with Rand Paul in the feud between the Kentucky senator and New Jersey governor Chris Christie. On Fox News’s Cashin’ In, Palin said she’s on “team Rand” because “Rand Paul understands. He gets the whole notion of don’t tread on me government.” Palin said that while many people consider Christie a governor whose “gone rogue,” she claims Christie is “for big government.” “Chris Christie’s for more government and his record proves that, whereas Rand Paul with that healthy libertarian streak that we need more of, in our politicians, team Rand Paul.” Christie took the first shots against Paul at a forum in Colorado, saying the strain of libertarianism is “very dangerous” for the party.
