Saudi cleric Sheikh Saleh bin Fawzan Al-Fawzan, a member of the Saudi Council of Senior Scholars, offically forbade the taking of pictures with cats or other cuddly animals, the Middle East Media Research Institute revealed Wednesday. In response to a question about the popular trend among westerners, the cleric said, "Taking pictures is prohibited if not for a necessity—not with cats, not with dogs, not with wolves, not with anything."
