Billionaire Saudi prince Alwaleed bin Talal, who owns stakes in both Citigroup and News Corp., released documents Tuesday to show that he was not in Spain three years ago when a woman claims he raped her. The documents include a full travel agenda, passport visa stamps, and witness statements—all indicating he was not in Ibiza in August 2008. The case was originally closed in July 2010 but then reopened this month by an appeals court. The woman claimed to be drugged and raped; traces of semen were found when she went to police. The woman’s lawyer responded to bin Talal’s document release by requesting a DNA test.
