Dustin Diamond, famous for his role as Screech in the Saved by the Bell franchise, died Monday morning of stage IV lung cancer, according to TMZ. Diamond garnered fame nationwide for his role as Zack Morris’ loveable loser of a sidekick, beginning in 1988’s “Good Morning, Miss Bliss” and extending through several shows and movies. Diamond was hospitalized in January, and reportedly began chemotherapy later that month. He was 44.
