Schultz Suspended for Sexist Slur

Oh no he didn’t. MSNBC pundit Ed Schultz called conservative talk-show host Laura Ingraham a “right-wing slut” on his radio program Wednesday, prompting cries of outrage and a one-week suspension from his show. Schultz took issue with Ingraham for criticizing President Obama’s trip to Europe while tornadoes were hitting the U.S. "Obama is going to be visiting Joplin, Missouri, on Sunday,” Schultz railed, “but you know what they’re talking about, like this right-wing slut, what’s her name? Laura Ingraham? Yeah, she’s a talk slut. You see, she was, back in the day, praising President Reagan when he was drinking a beer overseas.” Schultz apologized later, calling his language "vile."
