A new case of Ebola has been confirmed in Scotland, the government says. Doctors at Glasgow's Gartnavel Hospital are treating a health care worker who returned from Sierra Leone last night. The patient returned via Casablanca and London, and was admitted to the hospital early Monday morning. According to protocol, the patient will be transfered to a high-level isolation unit in London. "Scotland has been preparing for this possibility from the beginning of the outbreak in West Africa and I am confident that we are well prepared," Scotland's First Minister Nicola Sturgeon said in a statement.
