Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker announced his candidacy for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination in a tweet Monday morning. “I’m in,” he wrote. “I’m running for president because Americans deserve a leader who will fight and win for them.” Walker is expected to hold a campaign launch event Monday in the ultra-conservative Waukesha County.
