Scott Weiland has fought with drugs. He’s also fought with his fellow members of both the 90s grunge-adjacent Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver, the toothless superband he formed with discarded Guns ‘n Roses personnel.

Weiland has been touring with his latest band, the Wildabouts, and treated fans in Corpus Christi on Wednesday to an STP classic, “Vasoline.” It didn’t go well.

According to TMZ, a rep for Weiland rejected speculation that drugs played a part in the bad performance, citing his inability to hear himself on stage.
