Scotland's First Minister Nicola Sturgeon told the BBC that the Scottish Parliament could attempt to block the United Kingdom's exit from the European Union. Sturgeon said that she would ask the members to refuse to give "legislative consent" as Scotland voted overwhelmingly to remain in the Union. Scottish Secretary David Mundell said he "personally" did not believe that this veto could happen.
