The U.S. Supreme Court heard oral arguments Monday over a challenge to President Obama's plans to prevent the deportation of millions of undocumented immigrants in the country, and the justices reportedly seemed split on the matter. According to The New York Times, the high court seemed "split" on the question of whether a president can defer deportation without congressional authority—with Justices Sotomayor and Breyer voicing seemingly favorable opinions of such an action; while Justice Kennedy and Chief Justice Roberts, vocalizing more skeptical thoughts on the matter.
