Seahawks Defeat Saints in Playoffs

Anyone can get into the playoffs with a winning record, but the Seattle Seahawks became the first NFL team with a losing record to win a playoff game, when they defeated the reigning Super Bowl champions the New Orleans Saints 41-36. Seattle was 7-9 in the regular season. If Philadelphia defeats Green Bay today, Seattle will play in Atlanta; if the Packers best the Eagles, Seattle goes to Chicago to play the Bears. Jets fans also had a dramatic game, with kicker Nick Folk making a 32-yard field goal just as the clock ran out, pushing the Jets into a 17-16 victory over the Colts. A year ago, the Colts beat the Jets at the AFC, but this year the Jets will move on to play the Patriots.
