Things keep getting worse for George Rekers, the anti-gay activist spotted last week with a male escort. Now a second man claims to have been hired by Rekers for sexual services. In a blog post and interview with Gawker, Carl Shepherd described working as a prostitute in 1992 and being contacted by Rekers for an erotic rubdown. "I'm looking to spend an hour with a smooth young man for an… intimate massage," Shepard described Rekers as saying over the phone. "Nude. I'm kinda vanilla—I just want light touching, not sex." Rekers was one of the founding members of the fundamentalist Family Research Council, which condemns homosexuality.
