A bipartisan congressional investigation has found at least six undisclosed presidential security breaches in the last two years, including one in which an unscreened man pretended to be a member of Congress in order to speak to President Obama at an event last fall. The report, obtained by The Washington Post, paints a disturbing picture of security lapses by the once-elite force, which it finds has been undermined by staffing shortages, budget cuts, overstretched personnel, and management that covers up problems without fixing them. Further, House investigators warned Obama and the 2016 presidential candidates are in increasing danger if the administration doesn't move quickly to fix the agency's shortcomings. “The situation is getting worse not better,” said Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT), chairman of the House Oversight Committee. “The president is in jeopardy, and he better personally get involved in fixing this.”
