Law enforcement officials in Cleveland are ramping up security plans for the Republican National Convention later this month in the wake of the Dallas shootings at a Black Lives Matter protest. “We have got to make some changes without a doubt,” Cleveland Deputy Police Chief Ed Tomba told Reuters in an interview on Friday. Tomba, who is in charge of security for the convention, said he has been in contact with other police departments who are loaning officers for the convention.
