Donald Trump unleashed a furious attack on Bruce Springsteen after the rock legend torched the president and his administration on stage.

“Bad and very boring singer, Bruce Springsteen, who looks like a dried up prune who has suffered greatly from the work of a really bad plastic surgeon, has long had a horrible and incurable case of Trump Derangement Syndrome, sometimes referred to as TDS,” the president fumed on Truth Social just before 8 a.m. Thursday.

His comments come after Springsteen slammed the president on Tuesday night at a concert in Minneapolis, kicking off a new tour the veteran rockstar has promised will be “very political.”

“Democracy, our Constitution, and our sacred American promise, the America that I love, the America that I’ve written about for 50 years, that’s been a beacon of hope and liberty around the world, is currently in the hands of a corrupt, incompetent, racist, reckless, and treasonous administration,” the singer told the crowds of adoring fans.

Trump responded Thursday by calling on MAGA music lovers to “BOYCOTT HIS OVERPRICED CONCERTS, WHICH SUCK.” Of the 20 dates on Springsteen’s Land of Hope and Dreams American tour, almost all are sold out.

Bad blood between the two dates back nearly a decade, first kicking off in 2016 when Trump used Springsteen’s anthemic Born in the U.S.A. without The Boss’ blessing.

Springsteen hit back by stumping hard for Trump’s opponent in those polls, Hillary Clinton, branding the MAGA president a “flagrant, toxic narcissist” and a “moron” who was “unfit” in a series of subsequent interviews. He later threw his full weight behind Kamala Harris’ bid for the White House.

Their feud erupted into an all-out public spectacle in May 2025, when Springsteen used the opening night of his European tour in the U.K. to tear into the second Trump administration.

The president fired back, again on Truth Social, calling Springsteen “highly overrated” and a “pushy, obnoxious JERK,” adding that the “dried out prune of a rocker” should keep his mouth shut while overseas.

Trump then posted a doctored video appearing to show himself hitting Springsteen with a golf ball, and even called for a “major investigation” into whether Springsteen’s appearances for the Harris campaign amounted to illegal campaign contributions.

Springsteen appears unfazed by Trump’s rage. On Tuesday he called for his crowd to join him “in choosing hope over fear, democracy over authoritarianism, the rule of law over lawlessness, ethics over unbridled corruption, resistance over complacency.”
