Selfies Endanger Tour de France Riders

Cyclists competing in the Tour de France have a new annoying danger to overcome: selfies. Spectators are endangering cyclists by trying to take selfies while standing in the middle of the road. Oblivious to the fact that, you know, there’s a massive cycling race at their back, these obnoxious fans raise the risk for major collisions. American Tejay van Garderen slammed the newest selfie trend as “a dangerous mix of vanity and stupidity.” British rider Geraint Thomas was tad more blunt, calling it “the new pain in the arse.”
