The committee’s Republican chairman Sen. Orrin Hatch and ranking Democrat Sen. Ron Wyden have presented Equifax with a series of questions on the breach—including information about the three Equifax executives who sold nearly $2 million in company stock in the weeks before the breach was announced, leading to questions on whether the executives engaged in insider trading. Hatch and Wyden have reportedly asked when exactly the executives learned of the breach.
