So much for the faux-buster. Shortly after Sen. Ted Cruz’s 21-hour filibuster-like anti-Obamacare speech, the Senate voted unanimously to proceed with the House’s resolution to continue to fund the government. The Senate is expected to return the funding for Obamacare that House Republicans stripped and which Cruz was pushing for. Debate began with Sen. John McCain calling Cruz out for comparing “pundits” who oppose defunding Obamacare with politicians who appeased Nazi Germany.
