Seth MacFarlane Gives $2 Million to Senate Majority PAC

Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane donated $2 million to the Senate Majority PAC in April, pulling their monthly fundraising total to $8.7 million, according to Federal Election Commission filings. The PAC, which focuses efforts in building a Democratic majority in the U.S. Senate, now has almost $32.3 million on-hand to put towards the 2018 midterm elections and beyond. MacFarlane has been a major donor to Democratic causes in the past, donating $500,000 to the Senate Majority PAC and $5,000 to DNC PAC in March. He also gave $33,9000 to the DCCC in February. Senate Majority PAC recently aired a state-wide ad in West Virginia to boost Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV), and raised $14 million in March—mostly through the generosity of big donors.
