Taliban gunmen killed seven people, including a chief prosecutor, when they reportedly attacked a courthouse in Afghanistan on Sunday. Prosecutor Akram Nejat was hit during a ceremony celebrating his new title, said a police official. About 21 others, including police officers, were injured in the attack. All three of the reported Taliban assailants were fatally shot by Afghan security forces. Sunday's attack was reportedly the latest in a series of targeted hits, after the government executed six insurgents in May.
