UK magazine Grazia dropped a big sartorial bomb this week: Patricia Field may not style the next Sex and the City film. Apparently, she doesn’t have the same vision for Carrie Bradshaw that SJP does—Parker wants to transform the writer from fashionista to a more toned-down recession friendly icon, and Field is having none of it. “I don't use the recession as a reference for my creativity,” she told Grazia. You have to hand it to Pat for being as over the top and uncompromising as usual, but…really? We couldn’t help but wonder: How can SATC live without Field’s funky inspirations?
