Joshua Ray Van Haften has been charged with attempting to provide material support to ISIS. The 34-year-old Wisconsin man is alleged to have intended to travel to Iraq or Syria to join the so-called Islamic State. Federal officials arrested Van Haften, a registered sex offender, at O’Hare Airport in Chicago after he returned from Turkey.
