Hung Jury for Therapist Accused of Assaulting Hypnotized Patients

The trial against a Michigan hypnotherapist accused of sexually assaulting patients under hypnosis ended Friday with a hung jury. The allegations against John Gary Tomlinson, 71, date back to April 2017, when one of his patients told police the had sexually assaulted her during their fourth hypnotherapy session. Tomlinson was being tried on charges of first degree criminal sexual conduct, unlawful imprisonment, and assault by strangulation.
