James Robert Williams, 64, proves that you don't have to have a super PAC to make hard-to-trace donations to major political figures. The New York Times revealed Saturday that the Queens resident–whose profession, education, and income are all unclear–has given nearly $900,000 to both Democrats and Republicans, from John McCain to Rep. Charles Rangel. Since he began to come under scrutiny, Williams has apparently gone off the grid. "Mr. Williams has become completely unreachable," his PR rep told the Times. "If he ever does emerge and contact us, you will be the first to know."
