On Saturday evening, the Western Conference champions defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup finals, narrowing the Penguins' series lead to 2-1. The teams were tied at 2 points apiece at the end of regulation play, and 12 minutes into overtime Sharks forward Joonas Donskoi secured the sudden-death victory with a wristshot goal.
