With the deadline for contract negotiations fast approaching, Charlie Sheen is denying reports that he is demanding a $1 million per episode salary for his role on Two and a Half Men. “All of the numbers reported in the press are false,” Sheen said Friday in a statment. “Claims from ‘inside sources’ regarding offers from the studio as well as my salary, on their best day, are without merit.” Sheen’s contract is up after the show’s seventh season wraps filming this week, and if this marks the end of a role that has earned him four Emmy nods, the actor added, “So be it. Another journey has begun.”
