Tintoretto’s murals at the Scuola di San Rocco are about to get a little competition: Shepard Fairey is coming to Venice. The 39-year-old artist and creator of the famous Obama poster will make seven murals during the Biennale for the hotspot Campo Santa Margherita and tourist epicenter Piazza San Marco. Proceeds from the work will go to SMS Venice, which preserves the art and architecture in the city.
