Douglas County Sheriff John Hanlin said Friday Umpqua Community College shooter Chris Harper Mercer was enrolled at the school. This conflicts with what interim president Rita Cavin said. She alleged he wasn't a current student despite some other students saying they had taken classes with Mercer.
