One person is dead and at least five others were injured after a gunman in Mesa, Arizona, shot them all before fleeing Wednesday. Two people were reportedly shot in a hotel room before the suspect shot another person and took his car. Two more people were shot as the gunman drove to another location. Police have identified the suspect-in-custody as Ryan Elliot Giroux, a former Arizona Department of Corrections inmate with a history of violence and drug use, according to police and prison records. Giroux was taken to the Desert Medical Center in Mesa for treatment after police shot him with a taser.
