In an interview with Italian newspaper, La Stampa, Syed Farook's father said that his son "supported the creation of the Islamic State." His father also said that Farook was negatively obsessed with the existence of Israel and that he once tried to console his son by saying that Israel would not exist in another two years because Jews would be returned to Ukraine. Farook and his wife, Tashfeen Malik, were killed by police after they shot and killed 14 people in San Bernardino.
