One Dead in Virginia Mall Shooting After Fight Over Money, Police Say

A shooting at the MacArthur Center mall in downtown Norfolk, Virginia, left one man dead and two women injured Saturday evening, authorities said. The shooting happened around 6:30 p.m. and was sparked by an altercation over money, Police Chief Larry Boone told WAVY TV 1o. He added that it seems as though the shooter and victim were related. The wounded women were struck in the ankle and are hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, the police chief said.
