A man shouting “anti-Trump rhetoric” opened fire in the lobby of Trump National Doral Golf Club near Miami overnight, police said. The suspect, Jonathan Oddi, was taken into custody after he was shot several times by police. Oddi, who carried an American flag from the back of the property, draped it over the desk, and opened fire. Oddi then waited in the lobby to lure officers into a gunfight, police said. Eric Trump tweeted: “A huge thank you to the incredible men and women of the @DoralPolice Department and @MiamiDadePD. Every day they keep our community safe. We are very grateful to you!”
