Signed copies of Adolf Hitler’s bilious Mein Kampf that were given as Christmas gifts to an SS officer are going for auction in Los Angeles on Thursday. The books will be auctioned online beginning at $20,000, and are expected to sell for $25,000. The man behind the auction house selling the books, Nate D. Sanders, who is Jewish, defended the auction saying, "I think it's very heinous, but it is an auction item, it is a memento, it's a piece of memorabilia, and a piece of history."
