If anyone can get their way in Washington, it's lobbyists. Apple, Google, Facebook, AOL, LinkedIn, Microsoft, Twitter, and Yahoo registered a lobbyist on Thursday for their combined group called Reform Government Surveillance. Edward Snowden's revelation that the National Security Agency was secretly accessing tech companies' data clearly pissed them off. Apple, for instance, spent more than ever on Washington lobbying in 2013.
