Troubled Irish singer Sinead O’Connor resurfaced on social media early Friday, hours after Chicago Police were told to be on the lookout for her after receiving a call from police in Dublin alleging she was threatening to jump off of a bridge in the Windy City. In a Facebook post, O’Connor said the report was “bullshit” and that “some stupid bitch up at Swords Garda station decided she’d like to throw a bit of false and malicious gossip about is all.” She added, “AM FAR TOO FUCKING HAPPY FOR THAT!!” The news came just a month after the singer went missing for a 24-hour period from her home in Wilmette, in Chicago’s northern suburbs.
