A single ticket sold in the Golden State matched all six numbers drawn Tuesday night, giving the winner an estimated prize of $522 million—the fifth-biggest prize in Mega Millions history. The person who bought the ticket will get an incredible $308 million of the jackpot in cash. The next draw is due Friday and will reset the jackpot to its starting value of $40 million.
