It may be the hottest thing to hit publishing since the Kindle, but Apple’s new iPad has more than its fair share of critics, who have already taken the gadget to task for its lack of multitasking capabilities, flash support, USB ports, and a camera, among other things. Daily Intel rounded up some of the harsher words from journalists, bloggers, and Twitter addicts in the wake of the device’s unveiling: “No multitasking on an oversized powerful iPod Touch?” griped one frustrated blogger. “The only ‘revolutionary’ [thing] about the iPad is the price.” Another summed up its shortcomings via Twitter, saying, “The iPad is clearly a device centered around media consumption, not creation.”
